How it works
Here's how the referral works, and what to check so your fence is built right for Cheyenne.
You call or send a request
Tell us where the property is and what you need: a new privacy fence, vinyl, chain link, acreage or snow fence, or a repair after wind or hail.
We pass it to a local company
Your call or request goes to an independent fence contractor that works in Cheyenne and Laramie County.
The company takes it from there
They schedule, quote and build. Prices, warranties and terms come from them.
What we are and aren't
Cheyenne Fence Installation is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews, set prices or build fences. Using the site is free for homeowners.
What to ask before hiring
- Posts. What type and size, how far apart, how deep, and set in what.
- Wind. How the design handles Cheyenne's wind, especially gates and solid sections.
- Rules. Whether the plan fits the City of Cheyenne's height and setback rules, or Laramie County's if you're outside the city, and any HOA rules.
- Permits and licenses. Who pulls a permit if one is needed (fences over 6 feet in the city), and whether the company holds a City of Cheyenne contractor license for permitted work.
- Utilities. Who calls 811 for a locate before digging.
- Liability coverage. Ask for a certificate of insurance.
- Warranty. What's covered on materials and workmanship, and for how long.
